Brand new Kia K900. $375 a month for 36 months with $0 down. And 12,000 miles a year allowance. Thats insane.

I’ve taken one for a test drive, and it’s actually a damn fine car. I’d rock it, if I were in the market.

Shit, I’d drive one at that price. You’re gonna be really disappointed if you compare it to an S-Class, but it’s still a really nice car.

While the K9 might be a good car, that image is a perfect representation as to why Kia will never be taken seriously in the luxury market.

It’s a Trojan Horse. Not really here to sell in record numbers (though that would be nice), but to raise the profile of the brand.

How many with the means will cross shop a Kia with a 5 series of an E-Class? It’s low, but it’s not zero. “Yeah, it’s still not up to scratch compared to the real deal from Germany...but...I mean, I’m just saying, Kia has come a long way since the days of the Scoupe.” May as well be an advertisement if heard from the boss by the underlings.

Yep yep. I’ve detailed a few and they’re surprisingly nice. Kia done good but nobody is going to buy them no matter how nice they are.

My god, if I was in the market I would buy one so fast. It’s a Bentley on a budget.

Only drawback is that you have to drive a Kia

5 Series owner here and you’re right. My father-in-law has an E Class and would never consider a (gasp!) Kia, but i would and convinced my wife of the same. I couldn’t care less what badge is on it - a good car is a good car. The issue with the K900 and Equus is you have to be “into” cars to know it’s worth considering.

I mean that’s a typical lease. Most are even 10k now.

Just crazy that an accord is around $300 to $350 a month

I’ve been in a couple. The interiors are actually better quality than the Equus.
